To run the Medica text support line we collect: your phone number, first name, the days you work, the text messages you send and receive through the program, and, for agency accounts, the owner's name, email, phone number, and any protocol documents the agency chooses to upload.
Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent are collected solely to operate the Medica text support program. We use your number to send onboarding messages, shift check-ins, and replies to the questions you text us — nothing else.
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in status with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Your number is shared only with the messaging infrastructure providers (such as Twilio) that technically deliver the texts on our behalf, and with your own agency so they can see who on their team is enrolled.
You can revoke consent at any time by texting STOP to the program number. See our Terms of Service for the full SMS program details.
Questions you text in are processed to generate a helpful reply, which may involve matching your question against your agency's uploaded documents and a general-purpose AI model. Message content and sentiment check-in responses are visible to your agency so they can support their team, but we don't use your messages to train third-party models or share them outside the agency relationship.
We keep message and account data for as long as the agency account is active, plus a reasonable period after for support and record-keeping. Data is stored with encryption in transit and access-controlled at rest. Agencies can request deletion of their data at any time by contacting us.
